The new Breitling Racing Team couple

It is the young French pilot Mika Brageot, at the controls of his MXS-R "Skyracer", who will represent the Breitling colours in the Red Bull Air Race after the retirement of Britain's Nigel Lamb. Born in 1987, he is the youngest pilot to join the Equipe de France aerobatics team and has climbed all the rungs of aerobatic competitions at national, European and world level. In 2014, he was selected for the Red Bull Air Race's Challenger Cup and won it already in his second season. In 2016, he was selected to inaugurate a new partnership programme as Nigel Lamb's 'protégé', which allowed him to familiarise himself with high-speed and low-altitude racing. He also took over the controls of Nigel Lamb's high-performance aircraft, which he has already been able to pilot throughout 2016. To mark this new departure, the MXS-R, renamed 'Skyracer', has been completely repainted with a bold and original military-inspired design: the fuselage and wings are decorated in rust colours. The Breitling name is clearly visible on the upper part of the aircraft from wing to wing and the winged logo under the wings.
