Rado's new Gold collections

Rado Sintra Gold
Rado Sintra Gold

La Rado continues to pleasantly surprise us with its original hi-tech ceramic creations, in which form and colour are interpreted in a very personal way. Proof of this are the four brand new Gold collections, with models that are dressed in gold-plated ceramic, the result of the precious research carried out by the Swiss watchmaker over the years. The result is an unprecedented brilliance and a felicitous harmony of lines: the watch has the appearance of a unique whole in which the glass, dial, case and bracelet blend to perfection.

The Sintra line is presented entirely in ceramic. It is characterised by a tonneau case housing a square dial, protected by a domed sapphire crystal. Different versions are offered: entirely in gold ceramic with a dial embellished with diamonds or sequins for the Sintra Gold, or in combination with black ceramic in the case of the automatic chronograph or solotempo. The Ceramic collection includes models with squared shapes, in which the blackness of the dial is 'broken' only by the presence of gilded hands and the date window at 6 o'clock, or counters of different sizes in the chronograph; it also includes a model with a dial completely set in concentric circles that move away from the date at 6 o'clock.

To the Integral line belong the solotempo Gold Paillettes, in which the starring role is played by the copper-coated sequins that cover the entire dial (the watch is also available in a more sober guise with a black dial and leather strap) and the sportier Chrono version, which effectively marries black and gold. We end our brief overview of Rado's novelties with the True line to which the model belongs, which stands out from the others because of the unexpected rounded shape of the polished black ceramic case, combined with the golden details on the dial (hour markers, hands, logo and date display).
