The new IWC-manufactured calibre, the manual L200, is at the heart of Leroy's Chronomètre Observatoire. A classic and sober design for a model with a 38 or 40 mm case in gold (5N red gold, white or two-tone palladium 950 and 5N red gold). The dial, inspired by Leroy's 19th century pocket watches, features a hand-worked "grain d'orge" guilloché central decoration. The movement features a direct-impulse escapement, double terminal curve balance-spring and parallel double barrel.
Each Chronomètre Observatoire is delivered together with its chronometer certificate issued by the Besançon Observatory.
