The new Swatch Sistem51 lands in the capital with an exclusive Pop Up Store, in the very central Via Condotti, a stone's throw from Piazza di Spagna. A space dedicated to the Swiss brand's automatic watch, composed of only 51 pieces with a single central screw, represented in a maxi version by the installation created in the centre of the shop. The floor and ceiling are covered with graphics inspired by Op Art, recalling the unique decoration of the movement that characterises each Sistem51 model. The movement itself, which is also the first calibre designed to be assembled in a completely automated manner, has an autonomy of 90 hours and is made of Arcap, an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc with exceptional antimagnetic properties and excellent resistance to corrosion. Another innovative detail is the central but transparent oscillating weight, which allows the entire movement to be observed. The watch will be on sale in Rome until July.
