The independent Swiss brand Louis Moinetfounded two hundred years ago by the master watchmaker of the same name, presents the new Tempograph, a timepiece equipped with a complex mechanism. In particular, it displays on the dial the ten-second retrograde display obtained thanks to a patented mechanism: a cam with six protrusions makes one rotation per minute, releasing every ten seconds a titanium and grey gold lever that oscillates on the dial (the lever is moves within 10 seconds of the scale at 3 o'clock and then swiftly returns to zero at the end) thus creating an impressive aesthetic result. The heart of the mechanism is an automatic LM05 calibre movement, with 27 jewels, an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 42-hour power reserve. The case, guaranteed water-resistant to a pressure of 3 atmospheres, is made of 18-carat rose gold, titanium and steel and surrounds a black dial decorated with a "côtes du Jura" motif, also present on the oscillating weight. The Tempograph is in a limited edition of 60 pieces, with the serial number engraved on the case back along with the Louis Moinet engraving. Price: 31,740 euros.
