Luminox, an American company specialising in the production of military watches and boasting partnerships with companies of the calibre of Lockheed Martin, has a special system for illuminating the hands and indices of its watches, which does not require batteries and whose brightness is guaranteed to remain unchanged for over twenty years. The new Luminox chronograph, the F-22 Raptor, is named after a military fighter produced by Lockheed Martin. It is a robust chronograph with a 44 mm titanium case and powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement. The bezel, made of titanium with an aluminium ring, offers slide rule functions. On the dial we find the classic supplementary counters, as well as a double date window at 6 o'clock. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 20 atmospheres.
