MB&F's Legacy Machine N°1 is striking at first glance for its large central balance with Breguet balance spring supported by two elegant twin arcs, oscillating at 18,000 vibrations per hour. The fully visible regulating mechanism apparently has no connection with the movement, which is even suspended above the two dials, whose time indications can be set completely independently and disjointedly (dual time-zone mechanisms generally do not allow for separate minute adjustments). In addition, the watch is equipped with the special vertical linear power reserve indicator developed by the brand.The striking domed structure of the sapphire crystal emphasises the three-dimensionality of the whole. The LM1's mechanical hand-wound movement was developed specifically for MB&F by Jean-François Mojon together with his team at Chronode from sketches by Maximilian Büsser and Eric Giroud.
