Mido presents the new Multifort 8 One Crown, available with a deep blue or black dial, combined with a steel bracelet or rubber strap.
After the launch of the model with two crownsMido now presents a slimmer but equally dynamic version of the Multifort 8, which goes by the name of One Crown. The dial is available in deep blue and black, the bold design and clean lines perfectly embody the urban-chic spirit.
The geometric aesthetics and cutting-edge watchmaking technology of the movement that animates it come together in a contemporary design. What immediately catches the eye are the eight facets that characterise the bezel, crown and back (the latter two elements are screwed together). The satin and polished steel creates a beautiful play of light and contrasts.
The dial (protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal) features an eye-catching horizontal pattern and houses satin and polished hour markers and hour/minute hands all filled with white SuperLuminova, guaranteeing perfect legibility by day and night. The date window, in black on a white background, appears at 3 o'clock.
The Multifort codices, the oldest collection of Mido (it was presented in 1934), are clearly evident: great robustness (thanks to materials such as stainless steel for the case and bracelet) and an excellent mechanical motor such as the calibre 80, equipped with a shock and magnetism-resistant Nivachron balance spring. The case has a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 9.9.

These new Multiforts from Mido are driven by the 80 calibre, visible from the case back side.
The heart of the Multifort 8 One Crown is the calibre 80 (21,600 vibrations per hour, oscillating weight decorated with Côtes de Genève and personalised), which guarantees a power reserve of 80 hours.
For optimal reliability, Mido's Multifort 8 One Crown is guaranteed waterproof to a pressure of 10 atmospheres (100 metres). The satin-finished steel bracelet has a folding clasp with safety push-buttons and a quick-change system. The rubber strap, on the other hand, is combined with a personalised steel pin buckle.
