Montblanc Star WorldTimer Automatic

A watch that allows several time zones to be known at the same time on a single dial: this is the Montblanc Star WorldTimer Automatic, new at SIHH 2011. With a simple gesture such as a single movement of the crown, you can set the time of your current location, a second time zone, the date and the hours of the world. Thanks to a new Montblanc patent, this can be done while the watch continues to run uninterrupted. The calibre used is the automatic MB 4810, with an oscillating frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 42-hour power reserve. The stainless steel case frames an anthracite-coloured dial composed of three circles: an outer circle displaying the world's cities, a central circle with Arabic hour markers, and an inner circle for the GMT day/night display in white or blue. The Star WorldTimer Automatic comes with a black alligator leather strap (price: €3,350), but is also available in a version with a white dial and a steel bracelet (price: €3,490).
