With the Meisterstück Heritage Pulsograph, Montblanc goes back to the early 20th century, when the Minerva manufacture once again became a watchmaking protagonist with the birth of the first wrist chronographs, equipped with pulse scales calibrated for 30 beats. The movement used was the Minerva 13.20 calibre, first used in 1923 (almost at the same time as the Montblanc Meisterstück fountain pen), from which the new model's MB M13.21 calibre is inspired, in which the pulsometric scale is positioned on the flange. It is a single-pusher chronograph, with chronograph functions dispensed by means of a column wheel. It is being produced in a limited edition of 90 pieces (in reference to the 90th anniversary of the Meisterstück pen), with an 18-carat rose gold case. Available from autumn 2014. Price: 27,000 euros.
