Montblanc - TimeWalker Pythagore Ultra-Light Concept

The TimeWalker Pythagore Ultra-Light Concept is the name of the Montblanc model dedicated to Lin Dan, the brand's ambassador and multiple Olympic badminton champion, the "cousin" of tennis that originated in Great Britain but is now very popular in Asia. The main characteristic of the new watch is its weight, which makes it weigh no more than 14.88 grams. This is thanks to the combination of black DLC titanium for the lugs and a composite material, four times lighter than titanium itself, consisting of Kevlar fibres and carbon non-tubes for the case middle, back, bezel and crown. To further enhance lightness, the small seconds counter at 6 o'clock has also been skeletonised. The hand-wound MB M62.48 movement, made by Minerva, is also ultra-light: thanks to the titanium used for the skeletonised mainplate and bridges, it weighs just 4.73 grams.
