One of the classics of NOMOS Glashütte's production is now also available with a silver-plated dial, which complements the dark blue, light blue and sand versions.
The new NOMOS Glashütte The Ahoi neomatik 38 date with silver-plated dial is an excellent compromise between sportiness and elegance. This timepiece with an automatic mechanical movement is distinguished by its versatility, allowing it to accompany the wearer in many different situations, from the tennis court to the office, from the sailing boat to everyday tasks.
The new variant of theAhoi neomatik 38 data features a galvanised silver-plated white dial with rectangular indices treated with white SuperLuminova, combined with Arabic numerals and bar indices. Rhodium-plated hands also with SuperLuminova inserts (but in light blue) and a red small seconds hand at 6 o'clock give the dial a distinctive, sporty look. Protecting the dial is a domed sapphire crystal with internal and external anti-reflection treatment.
The steel case has a diameter of 38.5 mm and a thickness of 9.9 mm, combines robustness and elegance in a rather slim design. The sapphire glass back secured with four screws allows one to admire the movement used (the watch is also available with a closed back), while the screw-down crown with protection and non-tightness indicator helps to guarantee a water resistance up to an impressive 20 atmospheres (200 metres), making it perfect for diving and water sports.
NOMOS Glashütte Ahoi neomatik 38 date: manufacture movement
This three-hand model with date by NOMOS Glashütte uses the automatic calibre DUW 6101.
Inside the case beats the manufactory-made automatic calibre DUW 6101 (21,600 vibrations per hour, 42-hour power reserve), entirely developed and produced by NOMOS Glashütte. To fit the 38.5 mm diameter case and accommodate the date display, this calibre has been specifically reduced in size.
The patented date mechanism with bi-directional rapid correction allows intuitive and precise adjustment of the date. The movement incorporates the escapement owner Swing Systemwhich guarantees accuracy and reliability over time. The Glashütte three-quarter plate, the bridges decorated with NOMOS perlage and the rhodium-plated surfaces with Glashütte finish testify to the very high level of craftsmanship that characterises every watch from the German manufacturer.
The Ahoi neomatik 38 date is the sporty evolution of the iconic Tangente model, maintaining the brand's distinctive aesthetic features but with a more robust and functional structure. The watch can be combined with a blue-black, water-resistant woven fabric strap or a steel Sport bracelet.
