The two new Aqua models from Nomos Glashütte are the perfect companions for this year's summer. The German manufacturer enriches its popular Aqua series with new water-resistant signal white watches powered by the NOMOS Neomatik calibre. These two automatic timepieces are inspired by the Club and Ahoi models. The cases are made of stainless steel and fitted with sapphire glass, and water resistance is guaranteed down to a depth of 200 metres. Both watches are very slim and retain all the elegance of the original models. Their dials enliven the Aqua series as well as the wearer's wrist. Dark blue hands and red minute markers add a touch of colour to the all-white dial. These watches make it possible to read the time even after sunset, thanks to the Super-Luminova treatment. They are powered by the Neomatik DUW 3001 automatic calibre, made in-house by Nomos Glashütte. At only 3.2 millimetres thick, the calibre is exceptionally slim, with a modern and incredibly efficient construction. The time is marked by the Nomos Swing-System, the escapement made in-house by Nomos. The Aqua Ahoi Neomatik is available in a 36 millimetre case diameter, while the white Aqua Club Neomatik is slightly larger at 37 millimetres. These new water-resistant timepieces are equipped with a light grey textile strap designed by NOMOS Glashütte and woven in France according to the company's specifications. It dries quickly and gives the watches a sporty, elegant and refined look. The surface of these straps is made to be durable and the soft weave on the inside makes them very comfortable to wear on the wrist. The date is therefore set for this summer: the new Aqua from Nomos Glashütte will be available at selected retailers from July.
