Tangente, Orion, Ludwig, Tetra: with these four classics, more than a quarter of a century ago, the NOMOS Glashütte adventure began. These models, which retain the memory of the Bauhaus era, are now presented in a new guise. Designed for the most delicate wrists, they are available with a diameter of 33 millimetres (the side of Tetra measures 27 millimetres), which has always been a favourite with women. There are now only two hands, hence the name 'Duo'. Because not everyone goes through life in a hurry, and there are those who can easily do without counting seconds. It goes without saying, moreover, that these hand-wound watches are powered by the best NOMOS Glashütte calibres, and therefore very accurate. They are equipped with Alpha.2, the best-selling NOMOS calibre, in a new interpretation. The four new arrivals, like many other NOMOS classics, have a steel case and a silver-plated white dial. Here, however, two gold hands move harmoniously against the silver-plated background, a detail that makes the watches perfect for combining with jewellery. The coffee-coloured characters appear almost black but softer, as does the beige suede calfskin strap, which gives the watch a more delicate tone than the Shell Cordovan version. On the steel back, there is space for a personal message, which can be engraved. The price is also moderate: Tangente, Ludwig, Tetra and Orion Duo are available from EUR 1,060, making them also perfect as gifts. Little delicacies by NOMOS Glashütte.
