NOMOS Glashütte is supporting the German section of Doctors without Borders (Ärzte ohne Grenzen Deutschland) with two exclusive limited edition models. To mark the eighth anniversary of this important collaboration, the German watch manufacturer is presenting the automatic Ahoi model for the first time in two sporty yet elegant versions, both equipped with the exclusive NOMOS metal bracelet. Whether in a compact version with an extra-slim case or in a larger version with a date display, both new Ahoi models support the Nobel Prize humanitarian organisation according to a tried-and-tested principle: each watch makes a tangible contribution to humanitarian support worldwide. The new models also boast the unmistakable hallmark on the dial: the number twelve in red, synonymous with MSF's round-the-clock commitment around the world. The Ahoi is one of the flagships of the NOMOS manufacture. Patented for dives down to a depth of 200 metres, this timepiece meets the demands of the most daring sportsmen and women. The case back secured with six screws and the well-protected crown ensure that each element is perfectly sealed. These two Ahoi models, limited to 250 pieces each and made exclusively for Doctors Without Borders, represent dedication and support without limits or compromises: for every watch sold, 250 euros will be donated directly - and without a predefined purpose - to the humanitarian organisation. And it is precisely this flexibility that is important to Florian Westphal, Managing Director of MSF Germany: "In this way, we can invest the money efficiently where it is most needed. Both models are available at authorised NOMOS dealers and in the online store.
