New partnership
for Grand Seiko

The Japanese Maison will be Official Timekeeper of Fuorisalone and the Brera Design District until 2026.

The Tokyo-based company has signed a partnership with Fuorisalone for the next three years, strengthening its presence at Milan Design Week. From this year and until 2026, therefore, Grand Seiko will be Official Timekeeper of Fuorisalone and the Brera Design District. "This prestigious collaboration puts us at the centre of attention in the international design world. Our timepieces stand out not only for their technical peculiarities, but above all for their unique and recognisable style, inspired by Taro Tanaka's 'grammar of design' of 1967″, comments Frédéric Bondoux, President of Grand Seiko Europe.

Grand Seiko

The Japanese culture infused in Grand Seiko's production manifests itself through a design that enhances the great manual skills of the manufacture's artisans, the Takumi. The result is an aesthetic that is powerful in its essentiality, capable of evoking the details of the Japanese natural landscape. A characteristic that has become the hallmark of the brand's production.

Grand Seiko

The Grand Seiko project linked to the Fuorisalone in Milan is part of the broader context of a strategy aimed at Europe, a strategic market for the brand. Moreover, with the opening of the first European flagship store in Paris in the central Place Vendôme in June 2020, the House lays the foundations for an increasingly consolidated presence on the old continent. The boutique is the world's largest flagship store and was designed by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, who conceived it following the canons of an exquisitely Japanese design, inspired by tradition but with a contemporary touch.
