For the first time, Richard Mille will be alongside the Spa Classic, on the prestigious Belgian circuit of Spa-Francochamps, as partner and official timekeeper of an exceptional race. Scheduled for 24 to 26 May 2013, the competition will take place along a track with fifteen curves including the famous Eau Rouge-Raidillon, which will see Formula One cars passing at speeds of 300 km/h in conditions of very poor visibility. For this occasion, Richard Mille has created the new RM 011 Spa Classic, a flyback chronograph equipped with countdown and annual calendar functions. In a limited edition of 50, it is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement, calibre RMAC1 (28,800 vibrations per hour, 62 jewels, variable geometry rotor). The micro-bead-blasted titanium case frames a dial that echoes the colours of the event: blue, red and white for the upper and lower flange and race logo positioned at 12 o'clock.
