Known to all as the winner of the 2006 World Fencing Championships, Margherita Granbassi is also the first Italian testimonial to join the team of sports champions of Tissot. In her new role as ambassador, at the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello on 30 May, she presented a Tissot watch to the winner of the Tissot Pole Position Award, Nicky Hayden, MotoGP rider and another testimonial of the House. Since 2007, fencing has been one of the sports disciplines that rely on the company's timekeeping during world championships, while Tissot has been the official timekeeper for MotoGP since 2001.
