The new dials of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36, in olive green, silvered or gilded colours, feature a palm leaf motif (inspired by tropical forests) or a fluted decoration, a true aesthetic signature of Rolex. The palm leaf motif characterises three versions and can be found on the olive green dial of the first (in Oystersteel with an Oyster bracelet), on the gold-plated dial of the second (in a yellow Rolesor version, a combination of Oystersteel steel and 18-carat yellow gold, also with an Oyster bracelet), and on the silver-plated dial of the third (in a Rolesor Everose version, a combination of Oystersteel steel and 18-carat Everose gold), with a Jubilee bracelet. The fluted decoration, on the other hand, can be found on the gold dial of the last declination, in a yellow Rolesor version (combination of Oystersteel steel and 18-carat yellow gold), with a Jubilee bracelet. These new declinations of the Datejust 36 are all powered by the IWC-manufactured calibre 3235 (28,800 vibrations per hour, 31 jewels, power reserve of approximately 70 hours, paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Chronergy escapement, Paraflex shock-absorption device, Microstella balance), a self-winding mechanical movement with Superlative Chronometer certification (COSC chronometer + Rolex certification with a recessed movement) and guaranteeing an accuracy of -2/+2 seconds per day. All four models are water-resistant to a pressure of 10 atmospheres.
