Homage to Andy Warhol

"Times/5"
'Times/5'

It was 1988 when, at the Basel Motor Show, Movado presented the 'Times/5', a watch bearing the signature of the American genius Andy Warhol and with which the company inaugurated the 'Artist' Series, confirming its closeness to the world of art. Today, during the just-concluded 2010 Golf Show, held in Verona from 27 February to 1 March, the highly original timepiece, produced in a limited series of just 250 pieces, was on display for all enthusiasts at the B&P Movitalia stand, exclusive distributor for Italy. Let us recall that as early as 1947, Nathan George Horwitt, an artist from the Bauhaus school, designed the Movado Museum® Watch, which became part of the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1960.
