Omega and Nicole Kidman in Russia for the 'Her Time' exhibition

Nicole Kidman opened 'Her Time', a travelling exhibition of Omega's women's watches, in St Petersburg at the Marble Palace. Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of the brand, said: "There is an obvious synergy between our guest and what we are celebrating this evening. Nicole perfectly embodies the woman Omega's watchmakers had in mind when they started making women's timepieces more than a century ago: she is talented, charming, witty and independent".
"The timepieces on display are wonderful, to all intents and purposes works of art. Omega has always gone out of its way to make precise watches for women that were not just elegant jewellery. To me, that means respect for women, and it makes the timepieces even more special," said the actress.
Omega's "Her Time" shows the evolution of women's timepieces and the changes in style, from the first Lèpine pendants to the iconic Ladymatic, through the "secret jewellery watches" to today's latest creations, including the De Ville Trésor, the Seamaster Aqua Terra and, of course, the Ladymatic. The watches were flanked by examples of the brand's vintage artwork and classic advertisements showing women in a variety of lifestyles and fashions over the years.
