With 100 days to go until the start of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, Omega presents a new Speedmaster dedicated to the event.
Exactly 100 days before the start of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, Omega, Official Timekeeper, celebrates the event by presenting a new Speedmaster in a 38 mm case dedicated to the 25th edition of the Games.
Omega has been providing timekeeping services at the Olympic Games since 1932. The Biel-based company's first experience with the Winter Games dates back to 1936, in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Over the next nine decades, the company developed the technology that athletes rely on, constantly raising its standards of precision and reliability. In Milan Cortina 2026 Omega will time all 116 competitions, divided into eight sports, including, for the first time, ski mountaineering.
The Speedmaster Milano Cortina 2026 has a 38 mm case in polished steel, combined with a blue ceramic bezel with a white enamel tachymeter scale. The white lacquered dial is enriched by a light blue icy effect which gives a 'winter' touch to the watch. A trace running through this finish forms a motif inspired by the number '2' in the Milan Cortina 2026 logo. The counters are also lacquered and finished with a special 'azurage' finish, reminiscent of a freshly groomed ski slope.
Omega Speedmaster Milan Cortina 2026: dedicated to the Olympics
Several details recall the Winter Olympic Games in Milan Cortina.
Other details concern the central chrono seconds hand, which has a slight blue tinge, as well as the 'Milano Cortina 2026' graphic, also in blue, visible in the date window at 6 o'clock on the 26th day of the month. The SuperLuminova luminescent baton hands and applied bar markers (with SuperLuminova luminescent sector) are also in blue.
The caseback features an engraved medallion with the Milan Cortina 2026 logo, unmistakably linking this timepiece to this historic sporting event. The glass protecting the dial is a domed sapphire crystal, with an internal and external anti-reflective treatment. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 10 atmospheres (100 metres).
The watch is completed by a polished and satin-finished steel bracelet, equipped with a folding clasp with safety push-buttons and a patented adjustment system. Finally, precision is ensured by the self-winding Co-Axial manufacture calibre 3330 (Cosc chronometer, 28,800 vibrations per hour, silicon balance spring), with a 52-hour power reserve.
