From 14 to 16 May, the Hotel Principi di Piemonte in Turin will host the exhibition "Watches & Charme", during which the latest creations from twenty-five of the most famous watch manufacturers will be on display. The exhibition will also have spaces dedicated to other exclusive products such as pens, tailored clothes, essences, fabrics, clothing accessories and wines. It was also chosen as the venue for the first Italian leg of the exhibition tour of part of Gucci's historical archive, which from next year will be on display in the Gucci Museum in Florence. The 'hosts' of the exhibition will be Buosi, De Matteis, Fagnola, Ghigo and Monticone, official dealers and ambassadors of the houses present: A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Breitling, Chanel, Frank Muller, Girard-Perregaux, Gucci, Hamilton, Hermès, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Jaquet Droz, JeanRichard, Longines, Montblanc, Omega, Oris, Panerai, Paul Picot, Piaget, Rado, Time Box, TAG Heuer and TCM. Guest stars of this first edition will be jewellery from Dior and Gebruder Schaffrath. You can see the main steps involved in the manufacture of a hi-tech ceramic Rado watch, specifically the R5.5 automatic designed by Jasper Morrison. Starting with the powder, passing through the chemical reagents, the moulds, the firing in the sintering ovens and the assembly, all summarised visually.
