Spangaro & Co Casa d'Aste, in collaboration with The Padel Resort and Scuderia Blu Maserati, announces the Padel & Paddle watch auction, which will take place next Saturday, 10 May.
Next Saturday, 10 May, at The Padel Resort (at 55 Via Pasquale Paoli, in Como), at 3 p.m., the auction called Padel & Paddle and organised by Spangaro & Co Casa d'Aste will take place. The name of the auction takes its cue from the phonetic and spelling similarity between the words 'padel' (meaning the sport) and 'paddle', i.e. the paddle used during auctions to place a bid.
The urban regeneration project 'The Padel Resort' places the well-being of the individual at the centre of its philosophy. It was strongly desired and realised by the Parolini family with the aim of recovering and redeveloping the industrial area of Via Pasquale Paoli, in Como, through an avant-garde hospitality proposal.
It is a place with rooms for recreation and relaxation in a family atmosphere, but above all a destination to reconnect with oneself, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. On a total area of 17,000 square metres, eleven padel courts, nine of which are indoors, stand alongside a gym, a fine dining restaurant, a lounge bar, a coworking room, a pool area with a 25-metre heated pool, a boutique hotel and a Maserati dealership. A true oasis of contemporary luxury, The Padel Resort offers all its guests a wide range of opportunities, from physical activity to good food.

On Friday and Saturday it will also be possible to book a test drive in a Maserati car.
Maserati Scuderia Blu identifies the Trident dealerships of Iperauto Spa. Founded in 1988 in Berbenno di Valtellina (Sondrio), the company began its activity with the representation of the Ford brand. Over the years the company has grown by opening offices in the provinces of Lecco, Como, Bergamo, Pavia and Piacenza, welcoming other prestigious car manufacturers into the group, including Porsche, MG, Volvo, Mazda and Kia. In 2014, the first Maserati dealerships were inaugurated in the cities of Como and Bergamo and, in 2024, Scuderia Blu celebrated its first 10 years by opening a location in Como, featuring a new retail store concept.
Thanks to Scuderia Blu, on Friday and Saturday it will be possible to book a test drive (subject to availability) of three prestigious Maserati cars, namely the MC20, Granturismo and Grecale. Both Friday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Saturday (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.), then, it will be possible to view the 193 lots up for auction (the auction will take place on Saturday 10 May at 3 p.m.).
Among the lots offered, we highlight a 1963 Rolex GMT-Master Ref. 1675, another Rolex, Sea-Dweller Ref. 1665 double red inscription from 1978, as well as several Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe. Among the latter, we point out a quartz model Ref. 3587-1, from the 1970s. Finally, we also note the presence at auction of a Gérald Genta perpetual calendar, skeletonised, in yellow gold from the 1980s.
