Panerai in support of an important charity initiative

Panerai took part in the 22nd edition of "Celebrity Fight Night", one of the American charity events that has always involved major international celebrities. The initiative, which this year for the third time took place in Italy, was created with the important objective of raising funds for two important charities, the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. From 7 to 13 September, a group of guests from the United States experienced art and culture as part of an itinerary between Florence and Venice organised with the collaboration of prestigious brands - such as Panerai - that not only donated a sum to charity but also contributed to the creation of a programme of exclusive initiatives. On Sunday, 11 September, the traditional Gala Dinner was held at the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio, attended by numerous Italian and international celebrities, such as Nicola Cage, Lonnie Ali, Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Elisabetta Canalis, Gabriella Carlucci, Claudia Galanti, Melissa Satta, David Foster, Evander Holyfield, Victoria Silvstedt, and Jimmy Walker. Godmother of the evening was Queen Rania of Jordan, who received the Andrea Bocelli Foundation Award for the occasion in recognition of her support for refugees and the rights of children and women. The dinner, preceded by a cocktail in the Uffizi Gallery, ended with a performance by Andrea Bocelli accompanied by the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, conducted by Maestro Zubin Mehta.
