Panerai Luminor Blu Mare - 44 mm

Panerai continues the process of enhancing its history with the launch of the new Luminor Blu Mare - 44 mm (Ref. PAM01085). The name "Blu Mare" is a clear reference to Panerai's marine universe, which has always been one of the hallmarks of the Maison's identity. With its steel case, the Luminor Blu Mare - 44 mm boasts an aesthetic that recalls the graphic codes of the Luminors of the 1990s in the clean, square lines of the case. The first Luminor Blu Mare in the collection to feature a blue dial, enhanced for the occasion by a satiné soleil decoration, this watch employs rhodium-plated hour and minute hands. Moreover, with a view to respecting tradition, it adopts a strap attached to the lugs by means of a screw-down system. A further reference to the models of the 1990s is the typeface used for the Arabic numerals placed at the quarters on the dial. Also noteworthy is the presence of the historical double-arrow 'OP' logo. Mechanically consistent with the brand's tradition, the Luminor Blu Mare - 44 mm adopts a hand-wound mechanical movement, entirely conceived, designed and developed in-house at the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel. Extremely sturdy thanks to its double-bridge supporting the regulating organ, the P.6000 calibre is equipped with a balance-stop device and guarantees a three-day autonomy ensured by a single barrel. Water-resistant to 10 bar (approximately 100 metres), the new Luminor Blu Mare - 44 mm is completed by a blue calfskin strap with beige stitching, fitted with a satin-finished steel pin buckle. An additional rubber, blue strap completes the equipment, along with a special screwdriver for replacing it and removing the buckle.
