Panerai - New opening

Panerai has just opened its new flagship store in the heart of Miami's Design District, a district recently transformed into an exclusive luxury shopping destination. The boutique covers an area of 205 square metres on two floors with two different entrances and is, to date, the largest Miason's shop in the United States. There are seven shop windows, five on the ground floor and two on the upper floor. The creative concept was developed by architect and designer Patricia Urquiola, who used marble, brass and wood for the new boutique and designed the chandelier, a chandelier inspired by the movements of Panerai watches: it is located in the centre of the room on both floors of the shop and has a gold and metallic finish. The second floor was deliberately conceived as a space freer from furnishings and decorations, designed not only as a reserved area for the most exclusive sales, but also as an exhibition space to host works by contemporary artists and designers. With the new boutiques and reopenings designed by Urquiola, Panerai now has 65 boutiques worldwide, including 11 in the United States.
