Panerai has recently reopened its Hong Kong boutique on Canton Road, at the corner of Peking Road, in the Kowloon big hotel area, and has entrusted renowned designer Patricia Urquiola with the project of its renovation. It is the largest shop ever built by the Florentine firm, with a total area of 367 square metres. What distinguishes it from the Maison's other single-brand stores is its external façade, consisting of undulating aluminium panels, with a large wall clock featuring the typical Panerai dial. There are five floors on which it extends, with as many shop windows on the ground floor overlooking Canton Road and Peking Road. Clear references to the brand's origins, as well as to the marine universe, an essential part of the brand. One of the floors is dedicated to special sales and there is also a space reserved for an expert watchmaker specialising in repairs and customer service.
