Parmigiani Fleurier - 'Les Carpes de Sandoz' Technique

It is a happy union between the crafts of art and watchmaking, as demonstrated by the Tecnica "Les Carpes de Sandoz" model, with which Parmigiani Fleurier pays tribute to a famous painter and sculptor. In addition to human representations, animals and nature in general were among the favourite themes of Swiss painter Edouard Marcel Sandoz. This is recalled by the dial of this new watch from the Swiss watchmaker, which features plants engraved and enamelled using the grand feu technique in the background; three carps in applied gold stand out. Also engraved and enamelled is the hinged back, which depicts a stylised plant motif. Four functions accompany this timepiece: minute repeater, chronograph, tourbillon and perpetual calendar. The movement is mechanical with manual winding, PF352 calibre, and ensures a 40-hour power reserve.
