At the last Barcolana, held on 12 October in the waters of the Gulf of Trieste, Paul Picot joined the Fanatic team.
Over 1,800 boats, divided into various categories, took part in the 57th edition of the famous Barcolana, a sailing competition held in the Gulf of Trieste. Among the participating boats was Fanatic, already winner of three editions (in 1990, 1993 and 1994), sponsored by Paul Picot.
On Fanatic, featuring a 'full black' livery, the Paul Picot logo and an image of the famous Plongeur could be seen, the diver's watch launched by Paul Picot in 1987 and which has been offered in numerous variants over time. At the 2025 edition of the Barcolana, Fanatic got off to an excellent start, only to finish the race in 4th place in its category, which was nevertheless a remarkable result.
Fanatic is a 15.98 metre boat weighing 6,800 kg and its crew had Alex Peresson at the helm. On the wrists of the crew members were of course Paul Picot watches, including the new Yachtman Cronosport.
