Perrelet takes a decisive step on the road to production autonomy with the adoption of the latest-generation Alternance 10 (A10) calibre, manufactured entirely within the group to which it belongs. Owned by the Spanish entrepreneur Miguel Rodriguez, who also owns, among others, the Festina brand and companies that produce movements and components, Perrelet has first-class automatic calibres at its disposal. The A10, the fruit of several years of research and development, is available in several variants including one incorporating the Double Rotor module, an exclusive speciality of the Swiss brand. The upper rotor, which rotates at the periphery of the movement, has three apertures through which the oscillations can be admired; the lower one, perforated, shows the tapisserie motif that decorates the bridges. It is also personalised with Perrelet's P's and côtes de Genève workmanship.
