The women's collection Limelight Creativity by Piaget is being enriched in this 2010 with new models: the Limelight Magic Hour and the Limelight Twice, both in a very exclusive guise. The first, presented to the public in 2007, has won numerous awards, including the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix) as first prize in the Jewellery Watch category. Its peculiarity is that it has a case that can rotate and be positioned horizontally, vertically or obliquely: the novelty lies in the bezel, entirely set with diamonds in different sizes to match the curvature of the case; the watch is then enhanced by the presence of diamond-encrusted Arabic numerals, which light up the ends of the dial, while the final touch is provided by the strap, in satin or alligator, with a pin buckle also set with diamonds. The new Limelight Magic Hour features more than 300 precious stones totalling over 5 carats and is available in pink or white gold. The second model, launched in 2009, also won the Grand Prix de Genève in the same category. It is 35 millimetres in diameter and designed to be totally double-sided: the case, satin strap and buckle are structured so that they can be worn on both sides. The latter, one with diamonds and the other without, offer an off-centred dial, upwards in one case and downwards in the other, softened by dauphine-type hands moved by two different quartz movements; the time is adjusted by means of two correctors hidden by the loop connecting the case to the strap. The versions presented in 2010 are distinguished by the particular finish on the diamond-free dial, which combines tapered Roman numerals with a guilloché soleil motif, echoing the appearance of the dial on the opposite side. The buckle, set with 54 diamonds, is specifically designed to be fully reversible.
