Just over a month to go before the next Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva and already the first previews are arriving. Starting with Piaget, which is presenting three new models from the famous Altiplano collection in 2019. They are characterised by extreme subtlety and mastery in the use of techniques such as gem-setting and working with semi-precious stones.
The Altiplano High Jewellery 36mm is dedicated to women. For the first time, this model is offered with baguette-cut diamonds set on the bezel and dial, in a limited edition of 88 pieces. The blue Piaget dial itself has a sunburst satin finish and changes colour depending on the light.
The 41mm Altiplano Tourbillon in white gold has a blue meteorite dial framed by diamonds. It is made in a limited series of 28 pieces.
The Altiplano 40mm combines the rose gold case with a grey meteorite dial with hour and minute display and date at 3 o'clock. Limited edition of 300 pieces.
