On Wednesday 17 September, in the historic space in Via Verri, Pisa Orologeria presented the Métro collection by Parmigiani Fleurier inspired by the charm of the great metropolises to a small group of customers. The timepieces of this line, which shifts the focus on aesthetic research, an element much appreciated by the clientele, are distinguished by their contemporary and subtler design compared to the brand's great classics. For the first time, in fact, the Maison has presented a steel watch, urban and contemporary, with sleek and elegant lines. The calibre 3000 movement has been specially designed to fit into a slimmer and more refined case middle. A singular aspect of the Métro collection is the asymmetry of the different profiles of the watch: one classic and more traditional and one with more elongated lugs surrounding the crown. The men's Métrographe and the women's Métropolitaine are perfectly in tune with Milan Women's Fashion Week and with "Il Tempo Sospeso", a dynamic video-architectural project promoted by Pisa Orologeria and composed of: a punctiform metropolitan sky with circular patterns projected onto the shop's dome; a video of men and pixels reproduced on the screens inside the twelve shop windows; and a human installation of six models representing one of the video's sequences. During the evening, watches from the new Parmigiani Fleurier collection were worn by models in Jil Sander suits. Following the theme 'Time Suspended', Chef Lorenzo Cogo also created a menu that met the taste buds of the guests who attended the event. Among them was also Jean-Marc Jacot, CEO of Parmigiani Fleurier (in the opening photo with Chiara Pisa, General Manager of Pisa Orologeria). On this occasion, Parmigiani Fleurier and Pisa Orologeria had the opportunity to further tighten their collaboration.
