Porsche Design presents the new Chronograph 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, the first of four special limited edition watches to accompany the launch of selected 911 Heritage Design models spanning four decades. Based on cars from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, these limited edition watches bring the iconic look of each of their respective eras back to the present day. The first in the series is the Chronograph 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, a self-winding chronograph powered by the Porsche Design WERK 01.100 calibre, an in-house manufactured and COSC-certified chronometer movement. It will be produced in a limited edition of 992 pieces. In terms of design, the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition Chronograph refers to the legendary Porsche 356 and the iconic Porsche 911 Targa. The design of the dial with its white seconds hand and green circles in the characteristic 'phosphor' shade was inspired by the tachymeter of Porsche cars. The hour markers also display the typical Porsche character and offer perfect legibility in all lighting conditions, thanks to the Superluminova coating. The gold Porche Design logo embellishes the dial, as does the lettering at 9 o'clock on the seconds disc, which is also found on the rear of the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition. Special attention is also paid to the strap, made of the same leather used for the interiors of Porsche cars, and available in burgundy and black in two lengths. Like every Porsche Design watch, the Chronograph 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition is made entirely of titanium. The rotor evokes the design of the Fuchsfelge (Fuchs wheels), which were originally developed for the first Porsche 911 and, depending on the car's configuration, can be chosen in glossy black and satin platinum variants. The historic coat of arms pays homage to the brand's roots, just like the limited edition number that corresponds to the car and is laser-engraved on the watch back. The limited edition chronograph (retail price 10,950 Euro) is available exclusively for future owners of the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition at Porsche dealers worldwide.
