Last 27 June, during the Phillips auction, the Tourbillon and the Chronomètre à Résonance Souscription n°14 realised CHF 1.4 million and CHF 1.04 million respectively, thus setting a new world record for F.P. Journe timepieces after the historic Only Watch 2019 auction.
On 9 November last year, during the Only Watch charity auction in Geneva, an F.P. Journe watch (the prototype of the Astronomic Blue) was auctioned for 1.8 million Swiss francs, a world record for an F.P. Journe watch. In the packed hall, the most important collectors from all over the world rallied for this charity event. François-Paul Journe declared after the sale: "I am proud that our watch has fetched such a high price for a charity event. We were totally involved in this unique creation that allowed us to hand over a substantial sum of money to the Monegasque Association against Myopathies for medical research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy'.
