After the inauguration of a multi-brand boutique in Panarea and awaiting the new concept store in Catania next December, Restivo has opened its second shop in Taormina. The location is Corso Umberto I, inside a building completely renovated to a design by the Visual Project Studio of Milan. The boutique is spread over three floors housing some of the most prestigious international watch and jewellery brands: Patek Philippe, Panerai and Crivelli. A customised space has been dedicated to each: the Panerai corner, in particular, was created by the famous Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola using oak wood, burnished brass and bronze. The reception area on the ground floor has been embellished with a wall mosaic with travertine and silver tiles in several thicknesses. The project is completed by a scenic terrace with a view of the splendid panorama of Taormina. The inauguration evening continued at the Metropole Hotel with an event in partnership with Patek Philippe: here Giovanni and Francesco Restivo, together with Laura Gervasoni, General Manager of Patek Philippe Italia, presented the Basel 2015 novelties to the guests, including the new Pilot Travel Time and Chronograph with Annual Calendar.
