On 14 December, the opening of the new Richard Mille boutique was held in Singapore, inside the prestigious 'Grand Hyatt' hotel on the luxurious Orchard Road. It is one of the brand's largest showrooms, with its 200 square metres of floor space, and is characterised by light-coloured furnishings as well as a watchmaker's atelier and a bar lounge inviting visitors to linger in this place dedicated to haute horlogerie. Twenty-four display windows house the House's collections; the curved windows on one of the boutique's glass facades recall the tonneau shape of the Maison's watches. Another distinguishing feature are the two sculptures, one on the exterior and one on the interior façade, which echo the spectacular mechanisms of Richard Mille watches. Three hundred guests attended the inauguration, who after cocktails continued the evening in one of the hotel lounges, renamed the 'RM Club' for the occasion, and attended a concert by a local band.
