A new technical solution that simplifies the date correction system is the distinguishing feature of the new automatic CRMA1 calibre of the RM 037 by Richard Mille. The movement, crafted on a grade 5 titanium skeleton plate, displays the large date at 12 o'clock and the crown-selected function indicator at 4 o'clock. The pusher at 4 o'clock allows the wearer to select, in sequence, the winding (W), neutral (N) and reset function (R). The selected function is indicated on the dial in a window at 4 o'clock. The pusher at 10 o'clock, on the other hand, allows the date to be changed in the event of a journey or for updating in the 28-, 29- and 30-day months. The RM 037 is equipped with a new crown attachment system, patented by the brand, which is no longer an integral part of the movement, being connected to the latter by the bezel passing through the watch case (which could cause damage to the movement in the event of a strong impact on the crown), but rather anchored to the case and no longer rigidly connected to the bezel and thus to the movement.
