Rocca and the 85th anniversary of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso

Rocca and Jaeger-LeCoultre are jointly celebrating the 85th anniversary of the Reverso, the iconic timepiece created in 1931 by the master watchmakers of the Vallée de Joux. For the occasion, from today until Sunday 30 October, the spacious lower areas of the recently renovated Milanese store in Piazza Duomo will host a unique exhibition of ten pieces, including historic models up to the latest novelties presented in Geneva, including the feminine Reverso Réedition and Reverso One Moon, retro-style small watches worn by many celebrities on the red carpet at the last Venice Film Festival. A Jaeger-LeCoutre watchmaker will also be present to demonstrate the workings of some of the Manufacture's most innovative calibres at close quarters. "On the occasion of this 85th anniversary, we decided to revisit the Reverso timepieces so that anyone can easily recognise the collection and the model that suits them best. We had to transform this legendary timepiece while fully respecting its past and certain fundamental aspects. In particular, it was necessary to preserve the rigour of a model considered to be the emblem of the Manufacture's savoir-faire, as well as its elegance and contemporary spirit. This has been our mission. And today we are pleased and proud to present the results," said Daniel Riedo, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre.
