A new creation for Roger Dubuis: a pocket watch combining some of the stylistic codes of the Excalibur, Quatuor and Spider lines. In common with the Excalibur, the pocket watch made by Roger Dubuis features a fluted bezel and crown; from the Quatuor it takes the calibre RD101, a hand-wound mechanical movement equipped with four balance-spiral groups capable of compensating for the reciprocal rate deviations due to changes in the position of the watch; finally, as on the Spider models launched last year and characterised by hi-tech materials, the case is made of titanium. Once again, the absolute protagonist is the skeleton, which can be seen both in the arched structure protecting the crown and along the links of the chain to which the watch is attached, alternating between full and empty zones. In a limited edition of only 28 pieces, the Excalibur Spider Pocket Time Instrument - this is the full name of the timepiece - is also equipped with a support created specifically so that it can be used as a table clock.
