One more specimen from the Titanic-DNA Collection for Romain Jeromewho has forged another very special tourbillon from the metal of the wreck of the ill-fated ocean liner. The Steampunk Tourbillon is based on the design of the A la Grande model, which revisits this collection in grand style, with its oversized case and fully riveted bezel in rusted metal from the wreck of the famous ocean liner. There are many elements evoking the sea in this timepiece: from the off-centre oscillating weight in the shape of an anchor, to the four bolts of the transversal cross inserted in the plate borrowed from those used for watertight hatches, to the hands inspired by the Titanic's anchor. The Tourbillon Steampunk combines steel and titanium in its 50-millimetre-diameter case, while the skeleton dial reveals parts of the automatic RJ 2 calibre, exclusively developed by Concepto, between which the tourbillon cage fits. Produced in a limited edition of only nine pieces, it comes with a crocodile strap.
