Hublot was honoured to welcome Roy Hodgson, coach of the English national football team since 2012, to Nyon (Switzerland). Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, accompanied the English coach to the Swiss headquarters in Nyon. The British coach's passion for watchmaking immediately emerged from his specific questions about production, technology and design. Roy Hodgson has coached sixteen different teams in eight countries: the Swiss national team from 1994 to 1996 (with excellent results), the Finnish national team from 2006 to 2007, as well as various club teams such as Inter Milan, Blackburn Rovers, Malmö FF, Grasshoppers, FC Copenhagen, Udinese, Fulham, Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion. On 1 May 2012, Mr Hodgson was appointed head coach of the England national football team, as successor to Fabio Capello.
