For the third year running, Seiko is participating as Official Timekeeper in Como Lake Cocktail Week, which takes place from 1 to 6 July.
From 1 to 6 July, in the picturesque setting of Lake Como, Seiko will participate as Official Timekeeper at the Como Lake Cocktail Week, renewing its link with the event in the name of 'Japanese Elegance by the Lake'. An invitation to experience the encounter between Japanese culture and the sophisticated atmosphere of Lake Como, where aesthetics, precision and craftsmanship come together in a unique event.
The theme of the 2025 edition is 'TASTE!', an exploration of taste as a deep and multifaceted sensory experience. A journey into the heart of mixology, where flavours meet and are transformed into original creations, capable of conveying emotions, territories and inspirations through signature cocktails.
"Seiko's participation in Como Lake Cocktail Week represents a significant opportunity to express and share our vision of excellence, rooted in Japanese tradition. Being part of an event that celebrates mixology as a form of artistic expression allows us to enter into dialogue with an attentive and sensitive audience, capable of recognising the value of authentic quality and innovation rooted in craftsmanship. Como Lake Cocktail Week is an immersive experience in which inspirations, territories and stories meet. For Seiko, it is a privilege to contribute to this tale with a language of harmony, elegance and innovation,' said Ilenia Maffioli, Marketing & Communication Manager of Seiko Italia.
On 1 July, at the opening of the kermesse in the splendid setting of Villa d'Este in Cernobbio, some barmen and barlady will be wearing Seiko watches during the preparation of their signature cocktails. On 2 July, Seiko will be the official timekeeper of the cocktail competition, which will elect the best cocktail of this edition in technical, aesthetic and sensory terms. Welcomed into the eclectic space of Terrazza Olmo, more than 30 barmen and barlady will compete in the creation of a signature drink inspired by the 'Taste' theme, with time marked by Seiko chronometers and the Manifattura watches on display as backdrops.
Seiko wings Como Lake Cocktail Week for the third year running
The Japanese manufacturer confirms itself as Offficial Timekeeper of the event: the winners will be rewarded with a Seiko Presage Cocktail watch.
Seiko's participation will culminate on the final evening of 6 July with the announcement of the overall winner and the awarding of the Jury Prize. Both will be presented with a Presage Cocktail watch, homage to Japanese craftsmanship and its extraordinary language of mechanics, textures and delicate colour palettes.
In perfect harmony with this concept, the Seiko Presage Cocktail collection is the ideal partner for this exclusive project. Each watch, inspired by famous drinks, encapsulates the balance between aesthetics, craftsmanship and precision. For the occasion, Seiko unveils a preview of three new models dedicated to the female audience and inspired by international frozen cocktails.

The dials of the three new women's watches with Reff. SRPL61J1, SRPL63J1 and SRPL64J1 are embellished with a crystalline motif that recalls the texture of drinks served on the rocks. Each model takes inspiration from a famous frozen cocktail. Ref. SRPL61J1 recalls the cool, glacial tones of the Frozen Skydiving, Ref. SRPL63J1 fades into the vivid green tones of the Frozen Mojito, and Ref. SRPL64J1 evokes the delicate notes of the Frozen Banana Daiquiri. A further distinguishing feature is the new square diamond setting at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, and 'V'-shaped indices that lend luminosity and harmony to the dial.

All three models are powered by a self-winding Seiko calibre 4R25 movement (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a 41-hour power reserve. The 34 mm case and bracelet are in steelwith a yellow gold IP finish for the model with Ref. SRPL64J1. Hardlex box-shaped glass protects the dial, contributing to the vintage aesthetic of the design. Finally, water resistance is guaranteed up to 5 atmospheres (50 metres) and the bracelet is fitted with a push-button folding clasp.
