Seiko's new Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronographs are available in four versions, one of which is produced in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces.
Seiko introduces four new Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronographs, featuring a titanium case and bracelet with a super-strong coating and a dual polished and satin surface finish. In 2012, Seiko revolutionised electronic watchmaking with the introduction of theAstron GPS Solar, the first watch capable of connecting to the global positioning system (GPS) and automatically adjust the time according to the time zone, and equipped with solar charging.
Then, in 2024, Seiko launched the 5X83 calibre, which combines a dual time function with a chronograph. The quartz 5X83 calibre automatically connects up to twice a day to the GPS network. In addition, manual connections can be made at the push of a button.
The new Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph features one of the most advanced designs in the entire collection. The titanium bezel is fitted with a sapphire crystal insert and surrounds a blue, blue, black or grey dial, depending on the version. The dial itself, decorated with a horizontal line pattern, is protected by a double-curved sapphire crystal with Seiko's patented 'Super Clear' coating. The hands and indexes are treated with Lumibrite, so they are visible even in low light. In addition to the dual time function with day/night indication, the watch also provides 1/20th of a second chronograph, world time, signal reception indication, day and date display and power reserve.

In addition to these three versions, there is a fourth one in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces, distinguished by the presence of rose gold details on the dial and bezel and for the polished black ceramic bracelet centre links.
