Seiko and Novak Djokovic triumph at Australian Open

With his triumph at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Sunday, Novak Djokovic wrote a new page in tennis history. The Serbian tennis player won the tournament for the seventh time, one more than any other in history, and now, with fifteen Grand Slam titles, ranks third on the list of the world's all-time best. In addition, this is Nole's third consecutive Grand Slam tournament win, following last year's triumphs at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. Once again, seeing Djokovic wearing his Astron while lifting the trophy for the Australian Open winner was a pleasure for Seiko; the Japanese brand is immensely honoured to be partnering with the Serbian champion. Seiko was also able to welcome Djokovic to a fan event held before the tournament. To mark the occasion, Djokovic presented prizes to the winners of a virtual reality competition, in which Melbourne fans were able to participate by playing a simulated match against Djokovic. So it was a great two weeks for Djokovic, for Seiko and for the Astron GPS Solar.
