SIHH 2016: Drive de Cartier Large Date Retrograde Second Time Zone

Cartier - 37712Cartier's new Drive collection, presented at the last SIHH in Geneva, also includes this interesting model with a retrograde second time-zone display, visible at 10 o'clock in a semi-circular window. In addition, the dial, again finely guilloché-engraved, also displays the large double date window (at 12 o'clock), the day/night indicator (between 3 and 4 o'clock) and the small seconds (at 6 o'clock). The calibre used is the 11½ lignes 1904-FU MC , mechanical self-winding movement, introduced by Cartier in 2014, and which is designed to ensure optimal chronometric stability thanks to the use of a double barrel that guarantees the constancy of the spring-motor torque over the long term. Pictured is the model with an 18-carat rose gold case, but it is also available in a version with a steel case.
Price: 22,300 euros.
