The new collaboration between Swatch Art Peace Hotel, the special space based in Shanghai in which the Swiss company hosts artists from all over the world, offering them the opportunity to live and work in total freedom for several months, and MAXXI in Rome will last one year. This partnership, born on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the National Museum of XXI Century Arts and the tenth year of the Swatch artist residency project, will give rise to various creative projects, starting with the first ART-Talk, online tomorrow 12 December at 12 noon on the Swatch Art Peace Hotel social channels (Facebook and Instagram) and on those of MAXXI: a conversation on art in which some of the artists will talk about their experience during their residency at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in dialogue with the Ceo, Carlo Giordanetti, and the artistic director of the Capitoline museum, Hou Hanru. The collaboration also includes a second artist's talk, two exhibitions, including an exhibition of the most significant works created at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in September 2021, and a special Swatch X You (the customised line that allows you to create a unique and personalised watch) dedicated to MAXXI and available until 20 December on the brand's Italian e-commerce site which can be accessed from this link.
