TAG Heuer and the Monaco F1 Grand Prix

TAG Heuer celebrated the 75th edition of the Monaco Grand Prix, of which it has been an official partner since 2011. Numerous guests attended the evening organised for the occasion: among them, Australian actor and brand ambassador Chris Hemsworth, linked to motorsport since 2013 when he played Formula 1 driver James Hunt in the film Rush, and his wife Elsa Pataky. Also present was fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni, who turned 30 earlier this month: an opportunity for Jean-Claude Biver to celebrate her birthday. Last but not least, the driver Daniel Ricciardo of the Red Bull Racing Team, with whom TAG Heuer renewed its partnership contract for another two seasons last November, and the famous French chef and friend of the brand, Philippe Etchebest, who refereed a culinary challenge organised between the two Australians Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Ricciardo. 2017 also marks 30 years since Ayrton Senna's first victory at Monaco. To celebrate this date, TAG Heuer hosted the champion's granddaughter, Bianca Senna, at the inauguration of its new Monaco boutique, where the "éditions spéciales Senna" collection was previewed: two Formula 1 watches in the colours of the motor race, red and black, one in a chronometer version and the other a Carrera Heuer 01 manufacture chronograph model, with a 45 mm black PVD steel case, ceramic bezel and skeleton dial. Both come with the famous S-shaped link bracelet, the one adopted at the time by Ayrton Senna. Also featured at the weekend is the TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 Red Bull Racing Team special edition, a manufacture chronograph with a leather strap reminiscent of a race car seat and the colours of the Formula 1 team.
