TAG Heuer Monaco: special edition

TAG Heuer strengthens its long-term link with the Principality of Monaco by supporting the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) and presenting a limited-edition Monaco model in tribute to the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique. Specially designed for the historic race, of which the House was appointed Official Sponsor and Timekeeper but which was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this chronograph employs white and red, colours that have always stood out on classic cars and in vintage racing codes in general. At 1 o'clock, the small silver historical logo of the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique stands out on the brushed crimson dial. The watch is made in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces, each engraved with its serial number and the words 'One of 1000'. The perforated strap is made of fine-grained black leather. The stainless steel case has a sapphire crystal case back with the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique logo printed on the inside through which one can glimpse the Calibre Heuer 02 manufacture mechanical movement with 168 components and an 80-hour power reserve. The special edition is completed by a red box decorated with a chequered flag, a reference to historic Heuer boxes. It will be on display for enthusiasts at the ACM and is available for pre-order at TAG Heuer website and at selected TAG Heuer boutiques before the official launch on 27 July.
